Hi,
autogen.sh needs docbook2html. I don't have it on Suse and could not find
rpm for it. Could anyone make html version and put it somewhere on Freevo
web site ?
Regards,
Robert.

Hello All,
I am having a problem with CD backup into MP3, it
creates all the right folders (genre, album, song) but
it does not save the actual MP3 files, it seems to be
reading the entire CD but nothing get puts on the
Songs folder.
This only happens with mp3 encoding, I tested with OGG
and WAV
Hi matt,
I had the same problem with a earlier version of freevo, maybe you should
upgrade to 1.4.1 ? I see you are using 1.4rc4 , that's not the weapon of
choice ;)

I cannot seem to find any Xine plugin instructions anywhere. Do they exist?
I installed xine and it works great (menu's and everything) under X.
I added the add plugin line in my local_conf and re-ran freevo setup
to re-write my freevo.conf. What else to I need to do?

I can almost taste a functioning freevo box now!
I'm hoping you folks can help me get over the last hurdle. I've
installed freevo 1.4.1 on an AMD Duron running Redhat 9.0. I'm using a
winTV card (NTSC 38101 Rev B410).
I made changes to local_conf.py and now I can watch TV and get sound.
Here
please look at:
http://freevo.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/moin.cgi/RecordingInfo
if you are using lineIn to record then look at the TV LineIn section.

Oops -- I have the same problem with 1.4.1. I was just experimenting with
different versions (at the time I copied the output from ps).
I have done some further experimenting -- Sometimes when I play a movie

Thanks. That very nearly helps. It would definitely help if I had a
clue. It looks like using btaudio would be preferable, but it is not yet
compatible with mplayer or mencoder. That leaves me with the cable
running from the audio out on the TV card to my LINE_IN. What I get

That was exactly the same behaviour on my machine, restarting fixed it ...
But it think it was a version like 1.3.x!
Unfortunately i don't remeber what i did to fix it, have you tried removing
alle freevo files (except your local_config.py and freevo.conf and rclirc)
and installing freevo from
Wow, i found a MAJOR bug ;-)
I'am using 1.4, don't now or it's in later versions, but when I want to
start a manual recording from the webserver dates go up to 30... (found
it when I wanted to start something manual last saterday wich was 31)
Browsing all months they all go to 30.
