Long ago I wrote about a problem with the thumbnail images getting all
screwed up if the image files were being renames by and external program.
In other words, if you have a directory with:
image_01.jpg
image_02.jpg
image_03.jpg
and an external program rearran

I had sent a bugfix patch to the list, "[PATCH] Fix seghfault when using
a filename on the commandline". Dunno if someone pushed that or not,
but it should definitely be in any new release.
