Committer role?

Hi, Just wondering; a committer status in Damned Lies gives what kind of permissions; to submit files into DL-queue or what else ? My status in DL is "Member of Icelandic team (Committer)" but for the Icelandic team (is) the "Team membership" section is as follows: Committers No committers
