I don't know about the tudor-portraits.com site but this site:
http://www.marileecody.com/images.html is my favorite for pictures of a lot
of Tudor era people.

Thanks for the site, Saragrace. Have you ordered from them and what do you
think of their linen? I am always looking for good sources. Also, what
sample cards did you order to get a range of what they offer? Do you mean
all of the Home Collection, New Card and Artist Canvas collections?
I'm
Wait a second!
Aside from all the interesting suggestions that people have made about
sleeves, what's this about hanging up your scissors? Are you getting out of
the historical costuming business? (I am sorry if you are - I have always
admired your work!) If so, what is that made you decide
Wow! Having seen the hats that showed up the Ky. Derby, I must say the
Brits really know how to do hats for the races...There was nothing at
the Derby to compare to Ascot!

Without the limitation of time or money, it would be either Queen
Elizabeth's dress in the Pelican Portrait or the Phoenix dress with all the
proper detail. Just can't imagine...

I thought there was a certain beauty about it but I think the producer moved
to quickly. With fewer paintings and slower segways I think it would have
been less disturbing.
I thought the quiet peacefulness of many of the faces no matter the time was
rather charming.

2 months is an impressively short amount of time for such a project!
I get the sense from messages I have read that most folks on this list do
not make/study/write about historical clothing for a living. Is this true?
If so, what do you all do to fund your need to build historical clothing?
I
That is so lovely, Bjarne! You should be really proud of the work you've
done.
I have started a complicated project that I need to finish by the end of
June so I am curious how long your robe a la francaise took you to complete?

Sorry about the off topic, but I am a huge Flanders and Swann fan!
