I seem to recall a response from Valve regarding lack of Valve Anti-Cheat in CS:Source in the beginning of December. I do believe it stated that we should look for big changes in VAC at the end of January, including the inclusion of a new "version" of VAC in hl2 source mods. I could be mistaken but

It stops players from fiddling with how many actions they can perform within a given time period, supposedly. There is probably a more technical explanation but its not like you will get an answer from Valve on the issue so you really don't have too much to lose. And no it shouldn't affect normal

As there are no players there is no game as such and untill player join you need 2 to actually start the game maybe some players dont have access to your custom maps in the cycle thats why it sits empty for so long try cutting down on the custom maps it will busy up your server

Have you bound the servers to each CPU? Or letting it handle it on its own? I been running a different kind of gameserver, but when I didn't bind the prosesses it swapped between both CPUs and thus creating lag. Just a tought. Im running 2003 server too btw. -Original Message- From: [EMAI
