That's pretty cool - XEBL. I really though I'd have a better chance of
hearing something to the east from me but my local noise has been on the
heavy side lately- some channels more than others. I only have three
catches on 710, KIRO, KSPN (KMPC), KMIA. I was essentially raised on KMPC

I'm not sure what WAQI's night time programming is and I suppose they could
very easily broadcast programming similar to Cuba's R. Rebelde or the other
network.. After hearing Cuba occasionally through the last 35 years, it's
pretty easy to notice the difference between they're programming

Yup, The SS did rise a bit before the ToH, but like you said KIRO came back
on... at 0204+. It was interesting while it lasted.

Thanks for backing my thoughts up a bit here. I've been pretty lucky with
Cuban stations in the past, but unless I get a good peak at around the ToH,
I might be out of luck. KSPN has had some decent, longer fades and that's
when the SS moves in. 73- doug

Hope it's nothing too serious. My reason for that is the coffee! 73- Doug

Hey Don,
I didn't get to listen this morning, but I recognized the Solid State slogan
as KCMD. John and Jeff listed as 2300-0300, so probably Porland all right.
So what's this about getting hooked again. Heck, at the receiver here it's
coffee, an energy drink, a cig, cope, nicotine patch, bottl
Yeah, I asked about it. I was just trying to add 3 + 3 together, hi, by
matching what I thought could possibly be different pieces of audio .
different slogan, different music, same ID.

Hi Jim,
radio-locator.com say's:
P.O. BOX 584
Alabaster, AL 35007
Odds are good that if it says no mail receptacle, it's a PO Box instead. If
it's been 'just' the PO Box for more than six months / a year (can't
remember) or more then the forward order would be expired.

I'm hearing what sounds alot like "KJR G1" by a man at 5, maybe 10 minute
intervals. I'm guessing this is KENU, but what doe's it mean? Couldn't pull
up their website. Stations in the background are CJYM, and KWKW.

Thanks Tim,
I've logged XESURF a number of times, but I didn't know about the change. I
remember KZLA FM and I think one other "larger" country station in the LA
area... Interesting.

BTW, thanks for bringing this station up. I've known about this station for
a long time and I'm pretty sure? I caught this one from So. Cal. I can't
say I've logged them from here yet but I think the prognosis is good -
sometimes I forget about 540hi. The truth is, I always forget about
Congrats Martin (and Patrick) on your new QSL's.
