After just about giving up hope, KRPI signal peaked with multiple code IDs
during the last few minutes of the test.

I'm going to have to call this a no-show. My recording had what might have been
about 3 characters of code at about 0405 and it didn't sound like what has been
reported. The speed and tone were about right, but WDLR was just too much. No
matter how I filter it, it's still too far down to be
As expected, the whole KRPI test was heard up here in Northern Alberta. The
morse ID's were very clear, as were many of the voice ID's. Unfortunately
not needed as KRPI is a regular. Many thanks to all those that made this
possible.

My experience with the test was not buena. Too much WDLR (La Que Buena)
on 1550 sandwiched between local 1540-CHIN splatter and 1560 IBOC. I'll go
back and listen to my recording at some point, just in case I missed
something. I was amazed that I woke up for the 3:50 a.m. alarm. Thanks
OK, thanks Todd. Just noticed a typo in my post. Should have been 0404:08 -
0404:23 - only 15 seconds, not 4 minutes as posted.
Your info is very interesting but I don't think I had KRPI.

I just replayed my SDR file. KRPI had a man singing in a South Asian
language during that time period, followed by a voice ID at about
0404:27, and Morse code about 10 secs later. So it wasn't them,
assuming your timing was accurate.
