I am using JBoss 4.0.3SP1. Without AXIS everything works as I expect. Then I
install AXIS and the startup hangs - here is the AXIS Log file. Anyone any
ideas why this might be happening. I do the same think in Jboss-4.0.2 without
any problems. I am using Apache Axis version: 1.1.

I know that this is an old thread but I am asking the same quesiton. In fact
the documentation on scheduling in general is minimal.
I also want to write a schedulable service that can be woken up by an external
program by creating a notification event rather then waiting for the
sched

I am having the same problem. What I have done is integrated AXIS1.1 into
JBoss.
I keep getting the error :
org.apache.axis.ConfigurationException: No engine configuration file - aborting!
I have the server-config.wsdd and client-config.wsdd files in the correct
directories and axis as dep
