I was having the same problem.Working in IE7 but not FF3.
My apache access.log showed that Firefox was issuing a POST straight
after the GET
so obviosly the event handling was cascading.
Turned out my click handler had a case where it was not returning
false;
IE7 must return false by default or
I have not experienced such issues using FF3.0.8 and the latest
version of jQuery (1.3.2).
Which version of jQuery are you using?
If possible, are you able to provide some code or samples of the
content being transferred that's not working?

It would probably take an hour or more to reproduce a demo of the
