Maybe thats the catch?

Steve,
I have a KR-2 built to plans except I used the Diehl wing skins. These use
the RAF48 airfoil. The total wing span is 23 feet 6 inches. Using the wing
skins, the front and rear wood spars are extended using the 16-inch
fiberglass spar sandwich in the Diehl kit; this is the same material
Hi Steve,
I'm trying to come up with a valuation for a KR2 and I was curious what you
paid for your KR. I really don't have a clue what the going price is for
an excellent KR2 is. Any idea?

Steve,
The extended wing is the KR2S design. The spars are built with webbing
on the front and back where the KR2 only has it on one side. To extend the
wings you would have to change the spars to KR2S design and basically build
a new wing. I had the same objective as you and am putting KR2S w

Yes, I did search the archives and read all the post but I would like to know
who has flown the KR-2S without adding the wing extensions as the plans call
for and what their results were.
