Try Options - Customise - View then, in the box Picture of Main Person,
select Only tagged Preferred. Then, in the individuals Picture Gallery
remove the tick above the photo.
It works for me

Remember, in Legacy the program does not save photos, etc., just addresses of
them already on a hard drive. So if you want the photo in multiple places, the
space used is only the address, not the photo, so adding to multiple
people/events/sources takes only the keystrokes/characters of the

Initially let me comment on the file name which you give at the end of your
post: '6100 Marriage Records, XYZ County, TN' is not an acceptable file name
as it contains commas. Commas are only used to define a path and to include
them in a file name can only cause confusion. It is also
