I'm having problems with a slur ending on a note with the early classical
ornament \prall\turn.
Sometimes the slur ends between the \prall and the \turn and their order is
inverted, the prall coming below the turn instead of above. But it's very
context-dependent, and it took some experiment t

Thanks, Risto. Looks like I need to do some more work/checking/downloading.

Hi All,
Sourceforge.net has launched the 2008 Community Choice Awards for the
best open source project.
I'm involved in several projects (not Lilypond; here I'm just a
user :-), and IMHO LilyPond is an example project in usability,
documentation and support, so I nominated LilyPond in the categor

I'm currently transcribing a Mozart piece with figured bass. In several
places, the harmony uses a raised 6th, which is typically notated (also in
the hand-engraved Mozart editions I have available) as a 6 with a backward
slash through the number. S
Hi Reinhold,
How can I generate the raised 6th figure using a backward slash
through the 6?
Maybe you could start with
\markup { \slashed-digit #6 }
or
\markup { \combine \musicglyph #"six" \translate #'(0.2 . -0.1)
\fontsize #3.5 "/" }
and tweak as necessary?
Hope this helps!
Hi all!
I'm engraving my current work -- a "live film" (as we're currently
calling it) -- and would like some help on one matter.
In the score, I need to include (1) the script, and (2) stage
directions. These items will be text, and will be synchronized with
the music to some degree, but
I've done likewise on Sourceforge ...

+1!
I have also added a banner to my personal website, hopefully the
"LilyPond Report" will earn us a couple more votes...
I don't like SourceForge at all, but such events are a nice thing for
the community.

Hi Valentin,
It will not work, i'm afraid. \markuplines cannot work inside a
\score block, IIRC.
I've gotten around that by using
\markup \override #'(line-width . 64) \wordwrap { ... }
If you're up for a sponsorship or a bounty, I'll gladly join you!

What exactly are the problems you encounter?
I always do just this:

$ cd rumor-1.0.3b/
