I'm using SLES8 and
HOWTOs (especially for LVM) can be found on CD1 in the /docu/HOWTOs Folder.
Or you have to "google with for example a string like this one "Linux Logical Volume

Also not at rpmseek.com

I'm trying to use a TCP/IP VIPA defined as a dummy device
with OSA-express.
The dummy device is up and running.
I can ping it within my Linux;
but I can't do that from outside yet.
I have tried the add_vipa4 command
in the following way
echo "add_vipa4 .." > /proc/qeth_ipa_takeover #

I'm searching for a tool
to clone Linux Images under z/VM.
I have found in the IBM Redbook
"Linux on zSeries & S/390: System Management" Chapter 8
the System Installation Suite described,
but there is stated that SIS is beta on zSeries.
Does anyone have some experiences with SIS on zSeries ?
A good link is http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/java/jdk/linux/tested.html .
