Hi Benny,
thanks for your usual ultra-fast reply; I'm going to try as soon as the
backup ends, I'll keep you updated of the outcome.
Best regards,

Hi MailMaters,
after experiencing a total loss of our email server, I'm trying to add to
MailMate a new account pointing to the new server; connection parameters
are the same.
I've left hanging around the old account (in offline state), so that I can
later copy back all my emails to the new accoun

My feeling is that attachments should be removed as soon as they are not
used anymore.
Maybe a configurable option.?

I've also noticed this, but I never linked it to the 'a' letter; now that
I've been told, I'm quite sure that it happens (not always, I would say,
but rather often) only with address starting with it.
I'm also reasonably sure that it hasn't always been like this; at some

I've taken some time to think about this, and I'm still not sure of what
the best solution could be (for my use case, at least), but I like the
configurability of 5 too.

Just as a side note, I also noticed a similar behaviour, but it was
definitely there BEFORE 1.7; I always thought it had something to do with
slow or unstable network connection in one of the places I work at, but
I've never been able to reach a firm conclusion.
It's not so frequent, so I never ca
So, please, consider a more general From-derivation a feature request :-)

Hi Benny,
if I remember correctly, the From address auto-selection used to work only
if sent email were kept in the "Sent" folder; I'm not sure if you made any
change to that, but in my experience (I keep sent emails in the relevant
folders, not in Sent) it is still not working.
There are recipie
I can confirm that it seems to be fixed; I'll keep you informed if some
other strangeness appears.
Thanks,

Hi list,
I've been recently getting the following error message:
MailMate encountered the following error: “Server response: “I10 BAD Error
in IMAP command APPEND: 8bit data in atom”.”. Mailbox: “Liste/Bacula”.
The corresponding mailboxes ends up in the "Failed" state and seems to be
unusable.
Hi Benny, I went to r3420, experienced some issue and then went back to
r3384, but something must have gone wrong, since my left pane now looks as
in the attached screenshot.
If you don't need additional info I'm going to reset MM configuration and
start from scratch.
Cheers,
Alberto

Hi Eric, I don't think it has anything to do with Steve's view, since I'm
also experiencing it with the default Widescreen layout.
I also failed to identify a repeatable way to reproduce the issue, so I can
only join you in this vague statement ;-)
Cheers,
Alberto

Hi Tom,
in my experience MM change the "From" address when you add a recipient;
depending on your previous usage pattern it decides which address to use.
I've still not been able to get a reasonable behaviour for this function;
no matter whatever I've tried, wrong address still are selected for
