Hi all,
I would like to buffer a stream network using local elevation or the slope distance.
The MI buffer tool uses a (cartesian) horizontal radius (X,Y to X1,Y1 = 50m). The
spherical selection does not use local elevation data.
Has anyone used elevation or slope distance (X,Y,Z TO X1,Y1,Z1
Sorry, I can't really respond to the discrepency you have experienced. I presume that
both models were constructed identically?
In any event, you mention that
"our field people tend to agree with the previous values". How do they know the old
model is better than the new one?

Hi MI users,
I was wondering if any of you know of a way to keep a certain window on top
all the time, I am working with multiple views, layouts, overviews and I
would like to keep a certain order so I don't have to activate the same
window again and again...
Thanks a bunch!

Hello,
It looks like what I was doing a real no no in that I should just avoid the
deleted rows instead of trying to deal with them directly. I got some great

Thanks Guys!

You can do this and other non-linear buffering requirements with MapCalc
Learner or Professional. You can automatically insert the resulting MIG,
contour line or boundary TAB, and/or cell centroid values into MapInfo Pro
6.+ by a single "send to" selection in MapCalc.

Every row in this table is text object (on my map) that represent real elevations
(example <220.00>,<134.00>...etc).
X and Y are coordinates of text object but DXFElevation column is filled up with 0.
I have about 4000 re

Thank you Jacques!

I'm not sure about my solution but may be the 'WinChangedHandler' can be a
good way to solve your problem,
just set your window to 'front' each time.
