Larry - the beauty is that it's SaaS - all on the web. You do the
setup work there, we can all contribute, and everyone can view the

These days people want a car with a trap, so they get a free
exhaust system. The problem is that if you have a cracked
head, that's not a warranty item.
When I first got the used Mercedes bug, I picked up Frank Barrett's
"Mercedes Buyer's Guide" which has some good used info, although his
opinions are pretty idiosyncratic. I don't know if he has changed his
tune in later editions of the book, but the version I have (just

I haven't had a chance yet to give it a good test drive but was able to
shift between the gears while stationary. It seemed normal.
It's just that I am a great believer in always trying to buy a car
without a tow bar but beggars can't be choosers and it is not like there

Is it original? Is the fluid burnt? Can you count to five before

What do you think of this implementation of your concept?

Larry,
I think this is a good idea and would probably be quite useful to folks on
the list. When I was in The Finger Lakes Region MBCA, before I-net
popularity and before I knew better, I suggested an Excel spreadsheet

There are buyers guides out there for Benzes but they are scattered all

of the reviews should be taken with a grain of salt. But it gives a
pretty good idea. For instance

I think its a good idea. The guy that bought my SDL said he would have
liked to have a later model but feared those possible shortfalls. Of course
I told him he now had the best car Mercedes ever put out.

We so often seem to go over the same territory over and over again -
especially when someone is considering buy a used MB of some type. Common
engine problems, problem ACC problems,
