I'm thinking too there might have been some significant differences in
the intimate cultural exchanges (and methods thereof) you both had on

I think you may have Shah of Iran confused with Saddam of Iraq Once
Shah was deposed, he left to live in exile [then died].. Saddam is a

I knew a guy who had been defense attache to Tajikastan or one of
those garden spots, back in the early 90s. He could speak rooshan like
a native. He was a pretty crazy guy, Navy SEAL or something who got

A close friend of mine is an Army brat, and her dad was a spook that was
attached to the embassy in Tehran before things went south. She attended
elementary school there. Said it was a really wonderful place under the Shah.
