I just got a semi-new HP laptop and it fails to boot unless I disable acpi. This isn't a big deal in itself, but it seems that it doesn't use both cores of the CPU when this is done. Is this normal? It's an HP ProBook 4510s if that's at all interesting... Included are the dmesg from when it fai
