This afternoon, a male *Eurasian Wigeon* was near the outflow for Tung Ting
Pond on the Centerport Mill Pond in Centerport. This bird appeared to have

My first in Westchester in a while. Harrier count was at 4. Also 5 eastern blue

The common ground dove was seen along the curbstone on the northern
perimeter of the West End 2 parking lot at Jones Beach today around 9:10
AM.
The Cassin's kingbird was seen in the area immediately south of the
Community Gardens at Floyd Bennett Field today around 11:45 AM.

An uneventful day at the park except for an Imm. BALD EAGLE over the big pond.
Seen on and off for the last week, it appears to have come for the winter.
{Bald Eagles wintered here last year).
Very unusual here was a NORTHERN HARRIER that flew over the trees. Meanwhile
the resident RED-TAILED
have not relocated the bird from earlier. there are a couple of cats around
and some Merlins. still have some hope for this last hour!!

At Central Park (Manhattan, N.Y. City) & the area known as "cedar
hill" (near E. 78-79th St. just east of the park's East Drive, & west
of Fifth Ave.), a moderately bright NASHVILLE Warbler (seeming of the
"eastern" form) was moving about in a flock
The bird has just returned to the area by the sand pit / comm garden.
