Hi all,
We have managed to generate a test email as part of our overdue procedure, and
there are two problems. One is that the email notice was supposed to be a three
week overdue notice and was actually sent 11 days after the items were overdue.
The other is the "Total Owed for this Transactio

Hello Liam,
It is never too early to create a Launchpad bug. That said, we generally do
not add a milestone target until a pullrequest branch is ready, as this limits
distraction and prevents a lot of milestone churn. Occasionally exceptions are

Is there a way to place copy holds on individual issues of magazines
through the OPAC, without creating a unique record for each issue?
Thanks in advance for feedback.

Hi Dan,
I have a few improvements to the staff client that I am still testing
internally, but I plan to push them into 2.6 at some point. Would it be best
to create launchpad bugs for them now?

Hello all,
Just a quick reminder that today is the last day to target bugs for inclusion
in 2.6 alpha. As in past releases, new features will still be permitted until
beta, which is scheduled for early February. That said, the sooner something
is ready and targeted, the more likely it will be

Do circ modifiers define the kind of material, such as Book, DVD, etc ?
Well, not by definition but often yes. Circ modifiers are literally a
variable to pass for circulation. So they can be things like BOOK, VIDEO,
etc or they could be 14-DAY, 21-DAY, etc or anything else. You

So, what I am hearing is that Circulation Modifiers essentially define the
type of material that is circulated. Book, DVD, Kindle, etc. Is that

Dear Experts,
Here is another newbie question. I am confused about the Circulation
Modifier table and how extensive it needs to be. Here's the scenario. Our
Org Unit structure includes a main library, a branch library, and three
sub-libraries. All libraries have "books" that all have different
cir
Short answer : No you don't need different circ mods and there are a few
tables that affect this.
Longer answer: There are separate places to set things like circ durations,
fine rates and max fines. You then set circulation matchpoints that in
your case would invoke different durations depending
