You do not need to change the file before installing, so you are fine there.
Are you using the 'default' theme? You probably are, but if not, you will need
to edit the file in the directory matching your theme name rather than
'default'. If you are using 'default', please feel f

Mike, I forgot to mention that Jabok Library actually uses the reference
flag but the problem is that the user only sees what is displayed in the
OPAC and it seems that it is impossible for the user to distinguish
between a copy which is a reference copy and a copy which is not.
