This software came with the minidisk I got for my birthday. I have trying
to do allot of research to be able to turn text to MP3 and then get them to
this player. I'm still searching
Try TextAloud by Nextup.com, I find it works.

so I went in and fixed that in the folder options. I don't know how that got turned on
unless that was a dell thing.

It sounds to me, Tessa, like you turned down the volume a lot. Try sliding
the volume up to 45 and see what happens when you record through your
line-in on your sound card. Don't know what screen reader you are using,
but in my case with Window-Eyes 4.5 standard and Windows 98SE, sliding up
