I am trying to copy OTR files I have put on my hard drive. Nero version
5.5 pops out the disk before it verifies the data, takes the disk back in
and then says drive is empty. I can't figure out why. It will sit there
forever saying drive is empty. If I pop out the disk again and let it go
back
isn't any in the documentation that ships with the software.

Hi Gary and others,
Yes, the computer sees the burner. It recognizes it as though it were
another drive.
Yes, other USB products work fine.
He is using XP pro.
Thank you,
Terri

Hi Robert,
Yep, this is what he did. He said that he got the latest driver from the HP
site.
He does have XP, and he does have service pack 2.
I'm hoping this issue is fixable, but I'm beginning to wonder.
Thank you,
Terri

Nope, it's not listed. I had him check that out already, because I

that was probably the problem as well.
The only choice he has, when he looks under choose recorder, is that

Hello everyone,
I've got a friend who is having a problem with Nero.
He didn't have this problem, until he connected an external CD burner to his
computer.
He was using version 5.5 without any problems. Then, when he connected up
this external burner it was as if Nero couldn't recognize it. All
