Hi list
i have a question from the first days, when i started to use PD.
So many cool abstractions are made for "sample" manipulation, based
on tables or arrays. But not for live-audio input.
To test i usually "jack" itunes to pd.
So if i want to change such a patch to be used for realtime-use

Hi List..
I came across these patches by Cyrille Henry, the postings are from
august 2006.
when i try to open the patches i am missing "rule" and "rule2".
Strange that nobody mentioned it back then.
Well i was just curious to see how its done in GEM.

Since it is an ever returning subject maybe its good to have a

Could someone just give a list of existing "state-saving"-systems and
describe pro's and con's and the state of complexity ?
i think that could be very helpful for beginners ;-)
Thanks

Ciao Luigi
For Pd-extended, just add the patch to packages/patches, and it
will be automatically included in the nightly builds. Then str.c
should compile too.
Thanks for the immediate answer.
But i need more information for that:
Which patch ? where do i get it from ? How do i add it ?

Same seemes to be the case in the last Pd-extended OS installer.
Is it a matter of the source-code, intel-compatibility or an

I have some remarks about the PD-extended Istallers for OSX and would

One little question:
the objects, that are needed from cvs, would the run on OS X or is it

I just want to ask before i start to set it up, i have both choices
