I have just subscribed to Spotify, and wouild like to listen to it using
my Squeezebox 3.
I have installed LMS v7.7.3 on my Synology DS213 (non-Intel CPU).
When I display the LMS server Settings page, I can see the official
Spotify app v1.0 provided by Logitech on the "Active Plugins" sect

Yes, better than nothing but as you say not full track info etc.
Would be nice - and given that Android and iOS devices running the
iPlayer Radio App give you the whole tracklisting "on

No, it was written for Windows Phone right before Microsoft came out
with the whole "Universal App" thing and I plan on rewriting it anytime
soon.

I've had to change mine to use WMA only, as the default was either
intermittent or the stream would stop after 2 seconds. With WMA it works
flawlessly, but I too a concerned about the WMA switch off.

been enabled on Radio 1 and 1Xtra.

You seem to have enabled debugging for server.plugins, but not
plugin.smartmix. I still don't see any activity there...
