So it is only iOS that has 30 days or is it just TV ?
According to various android sites v1.6.4 or BBC Radio IPlayer for
Androids had updates to support 30 day ?
I've got 1.6.4 of the iOS radio app and it only goes back 7 days, it's
only the TV app that's 30.

I couldn't resist even more fiddling with the alpha HLS plugin; I hope
you don't mind if you are watching Triode!
With the attached HLS.pm I've done a small optimisation of the string
copies, as already hinted at by Triode. This reduces the number of bytes
copied by around 500

Fantastic job BPA - now have listen again working, and great to see more

I've put together a short script that might assist with launching

I'm glad you said that, because I have just lost my original response to

I noticed, because I noticed your script was falling through the 'wait',
which meant that avconv had in fact terminated itself. I was very
surprised.
I see. Wasn't sure whether you'd seen
Firstly I want to say a great thanks to bpa and everyone else who's put
together tools, found URLs, badgered those in power and generally got us
near a point where we can get iPlayer back on the Squeezebox world.
I've put a bit of work together to get my combined squeezeplug/and

So, I just need to use this perl script (edited) if I already have
ffmpeg installed?

Thanks

Well my avconv compilation on a Raspberry Pi 2 took exactly 1 hour - not
bad. I changed the custom-convert.conf and playhls.sh back to the bpa

getting multiple avconv instances, damn it. So obviously I

Finally I'll say a big thanks to everyone involved in Alien, it's the

Thanks, I'm not worried that it doesn't work, there's a bunch of menus
on it that don't for me (the SB3 goes to 'Playing' then briefly shows
the message 'ERROR: NO ITEMS FOUND IN PLAYLIST'and drops back to the
main menu).
At some stage I might start to investigate it.
