It's HTC :-). They're known for their web app unfriendly changes to the

I would not hold my breath, the issue has been known for months now. I
can't judge whether it's an htc problem (sounds a bit like it) or a
problem with the web page.
I'd just use SqueezeCommander or one of the other native Apps...
