You can install a later 280 or 2300 logic board into the 270 and it will
work with the 270c's color screen.

Thanks Mark, Best news we have had in a long time.
We will just put the 280 board on the 270 screen and then be able to upgrade
up to OS 8 instead of stopping at 7.6.1.
