Hi, I'm trying to generate a pdf via pyqgis using QgsComposition. Its going
ok, but I've got a little problem with polygon fill symbology. Any of the
fill styles such as 'cross', 'horizontal', 'diagonal_x' when used in a
polygon show up blurry in the output (all other linework is sharp).
Here is ho

Thanks for testing.
I realized, that this also happens here, so this patch gets my -1 as
well in its current state.
But this will still improve the situation for people which cannot turn
on backbuffering because they need to be able to interrupt the
rendering process or need incremental drawing.
Just tested patch and I still get white stripes when measuring
and digitizing. Sometimes also when panning.

Hi Matthias,
thanks a lot for your efforts to get QGIS 2.0 as stable as possible.
Sadly, my vote here is -1 as I just tested your branch and I still getting
the map flickering,
not frequently as before but by using measure tool or shaking the map
sometime it happens.
Might this be an isolated cas
Your explanation sounds good - if it really is like that and it really
does not affect anything else ..
+1 from me

Hi,
About a year ago I developed a fix for the flickering problem on X11.
This has some major disadvantages like a rendering process cannot be
aborted with the "Esc" key and apparently there have been some artifacts
on dock windows (although this seem to have disappeared magically)
However, recen
Hi all,
two days ago ticket #8510 [0] about moving Processing tickets to QGIS redmine
was closed. As I can see, now processing is subproject of the QGIS project.
But seems it still separate project and not accessible from main QGIS redmine.
Moreover, there is a new category "processing" (with onl
Hi Otto,
If you provide the "visibleLayers" property in the URL, it will be
used. If you do not provide this property it will use the visibility
setting from the QGIS project. You need to set
var useGetProjectSettings = true;
to be able to use the visibility from the QGIS project. It does no
Hi,
if I want to hide the visibility of a layer in the qgis-weblient, so it is
not initially visible when I open the webclient in the browser but it
should still be possible to show the layer, if I want.
It seems that qgis webclient doesn't understand, if I hide the layer from
visibility in the Q

No. It's still the same diskspace issue. I
