Hi!
Following troubles starting Qgis 2.4 on Suse 12.3 after the 21.07
uppgrades on GEOS server for SUSE, I'm trying to compile Qgis.
But I get error on SIP python library at 89% finnished: See below!

I'm writing a pyqgis 2.2 plugin with qgis 2.2 I succeeded in accessing and
displaying vector data (geometries & attributes). I succeed also to create a
'beforecomitechanges' signal ( emitted, before changes are commited to the
data provider). Thus a message has appeared into qgis logwindow ("comit
I have detected an error in the dialog for joining files (ftools plugin).
This error is issued:when pressing the "accept" button in the dialog that
appears at:
Vector => Data management => Combine shape files
(the menu names could differ, I'm translating to english the names that
appear in my lo
RIght, sorry about the confusion. You should file a feature request ticket
for this, it is not a simple as it seems.

Thanks for the guidance - I'll probably write more later with some

because of a problem with QGIS I would like to uninstall the program and
reinstall it. I had installed the program (QGIS 2.2) via the standalone
setup, and then over the OSGeo4W Installer various added (libraries, Qt4
