Occasionally someone will ask how well the DUL or RBL works and some people throw out: DUL caught 105 items RBL caught 33 items Just how do you determine how many it caught? Do these denies get logged to tcpserver's log?? (when tcpserver is of course run w/ -v option) Thanks, mike.

RE: Queue Time

why not just run 2 instances of qmail. one w/ a queuelifetime of a few days or a week and one with a lifetime of a few hours. if it has to go out and can't it'll end up bouncing out of the queue quickly. it'll be queued often in that short amount of time as desired. -- Michael Boyiazis

I'm thinking of adding DUL and/or RBL on our inbound mail servers. Before I emplement I've been asked by higherups to monitor how much email is being held up as spam on a lighter use server. Is there a simple way to do this? Or should I just put in a quick hack to qmail-smtpd.c to log

impossible to do?

2000-08-07 Thread M.B.

I had a similar question a while back to which Russell was kind enough to suggest a fix: to queue all *inbound mail* just modify qmail-getpw to _exit(111). What I did to it was check if an indicator file is present in /var/qmail/control and exit(111) and the email message goes to the
