Thanks Sean,
Is there a way to add a search button for users to click to start the
search as I note I can't just add html to the tag?
While it seems really obvious to hit the return button we try to keep
our site very simple for users to access as a lot of them are really not

Thanks Sean,
I have created a search page which let me see the tags, however while
the search box comes up fine, I am unable to bring up the results from
the search. I had thought simply using the
tag on the page would show the results, but that doesn't seem to work.
Can you point me in the ri
I would like to add a search box to the home page of our radiant site
that will search only within the site.
I have exported the search extension (which I hope may do this), into
the extensions folder within radiant and it shows up in the extension
list within the admin interface.
However, I am

I'm having a problem upgrading from 0.6.1 to 0.6.2 on my local (Windows
XP) test machine. I have tried this on a couple of Windows machines and
each time I get a (Zlib::BufError) buffer error.
On my local machine I have updated Ruby to version 1.8.6 and have
updated Ruby Gems to 0.9.4. I have al

I would like to set up an RSS feed for the news section of our website,
can anyone recommend the best way to do this?

I am also still having the same problem with Page_Attachments, I have
only tried a couple of pdf files which have been ok. It is mostly image
files that we need to upload. The images are usually over 1mb so it
doesn't seem to be caused by the files being very small.
Thanks

Thanks David,
At least I know it isn't just me now!
A couple of times I have found that uploading a "problem file" along
with another couple of files sometimes seems to help, no idea why
though. It doesn't seem to actually be a file specific problem as I have
had files that wouldn't upload one
I am testing on two local machines will full admin rights. I have been
doing more testing this morning and found that it seems to work
intermittently, sometimes a file will upload and sometimes nothing seems
to happen, although if I keep trying long enough I usually win!

Sean, thanks for the step by step guide for the page_attachments
extension.
I have followed all of the steps and the upload interface is showing up.
However I am still having the same problem in that after I browse to the
files and click to save the page the images are still not uploaded

Hi Sean,
Do you have any documentation on the page attachment extension? I have
run the rake command and now have the plus icon. It looks as though it
is working. However after I save the page and then try to find the
image I've tried to upload it does not seem to have been added anywhere.

I am looking for an easy way to manage uploading images to my radiant
public\images folder.
The page_attachments extension was mentioned in a recent digest and I
have installed it but can't see how to actually configure/use it. In
the extensions tab the page_attachments extension(version 0.2)
Hi Chris,
I'm not sure if this is the "correct" way but it worked on my test
machine
1. Install the new gem:
% gem update radiant
2. Update your config/environment.rb so that it uses the latest gem.
(the Radiant Gem Version line should read RADIANT_GEM_VERSION =
'0.6.0'
3. Update your
The copy of radiant on our web server was initially set up in instance
mode so the normal update path isn't going to work.
I'm not sure if I need to remove radiant from the host server, install
from the gem, create a new project and then migrate my database or if
there is an easier way?

Sean,
Many thanks for such a quick fix, the migrage worked first time.
Will I need to use subversion when updating on railsmachine, or can I
simply update the gem and restore from the migrated datebase on my local
machine?
Thanks again
Sharon
