FYI I ordered by accessory pack on Feb. 25 and it was shipped on April 7
from Tennessee, and arrived in Vermont on April 12.

This is ridiculous! You shouldn't have to hack your squeezebox or
manually add a custom alarm sound just to get a "normal" alarm clock
sound. Logitech can provide 100+ alarm sounds, but can't include a
signle normal alarm clock sound? What's up with that? (What's even
worse is that it actually IS
Has anyone in here tried one of those DIY kits (battery packs) that pop

Holy crap! It works. I am staying with 7.4 until the next update which
will hopefully fix the problems I am having with my radio going silent
on a regular basis.

I own 2 Squeezebox radios and I bought the second one based on the fact
that the first one would play Rhapsody stations for hours without
problem.
I have a Rhapsody subscription and playing their stations is the
primary reason for me to own Squeezebox radios.

Here's how to roll back to the previously installed firmware version for
the squeezebox radio.
1) Press and hold the power button to completely shut the device off
2) While holding the rewind button press the power button to turn the

But it raises the chance that this bug gets fixed soon.
Otherwise you could revert back to an earlier firmware version.
It seems to work with the web-interface at mysqueezebox.com.
Afterwards, the alarm is shown correctly on the radio. But the time is
un-editable then.

True, but voting for a bug to repair not being able to set an alarm

That seems to be doing the trick - thank you very much!
It's a great facility, by the way - really makes the Radio come into
its own for me. Now if I can just get Napster going I will be
extremely happy...

Hello,
I have this problem with my Squeezebox Radio. I set an alarm at a
certain time and make sure the alarm sound is selected and the alarm is
on (on today). Up until yesterday I saw a small "alarm icon" at the
bottom line of my SB Radio and when I switched it off I could see it at
the screensa
This solution was posted in the general discussion forum by a member and
it worked for me. Three days now and no problems.
in mysqueezebox.com, you can go to My Players > Network, and set the
Radio Station Buffer Seconds to 6, in the same way. (I don't see a
timeout setting there).
