FYI, I did a test where I did a factory reset and set up networking with
my SSID not hidden, and everything worked as expected. Updated the bug
report with the new info. Seems to clearly indicate that the hidden
SSID on initial networking setup was what triggered the bug.

Or it could just make it look more interesting...what are they trying
to hide? In all seriousness there's no point whatsoever to hiding the
SSID - and doing so causes plenty of problems.

At best a hidden SSID will make a hacker go for another network than
yours.
They can find out the SSID as easy as they can clone your MAC Address.
At worst your neighbourghs will not know that you are "ocupying" a
channel.
My Duets had some trouble when I was hiding my SSID. Using WPA.

Mine just reconnects, and I don't think there's a setting that controls
this. Have you tried un-hiding your SSID to see if that's causing the
problem? If so, you should be fine leaving it unhidden, because hiding
the SSID doesn't really enhance your security. I don't think it adds any
security bey
My Radio does exactly what you wish: unplug Radio, plug back in,
automatically re-connects to my WiFi (with WPA2), starts playing where
it left off.
There is no Radio setting for this that I know of, it's just it's
default behaviour.
