Some years ago I was talking to Outback Tech support and mentioned major discrepancies in voltage readings from a Mate. The support lady laughed and said that the meters on the Outback weren't accurate. At 04:48 PM 8/28/2017, you wrote: My fluke 337 DC clamp meter is consistently reading about

Hi Nick, I should mention that the inverters being AC coupled are M-250s, not the new IQ series. Would that make any difference? Thanks, Drake At 03:12 PM 8/28/2017, Drake wrote: Hi Nick, At 11:20 AM 8/28/2017, you wrote: Content-Language: en-US Content-Type: multipart/alternative;

When or have you ever had it recalibrated esp. if it has a few miles on it? I was getting floating readings & I sent my 25 year old fluke in a few years ago & definitely saw more accurate readings and the floaties went away. ---

Hi Dan You can use the shunt MV reading via say fluke 87 to double check the amps that your clamp on is reading. Jay > On Aug 28, 2017, at 2:47 PM, Dave Angelini Offgrid Solar > wrote: > > Looks like you need a 2nd meter to test the sushi... --Dave > > > Dave Foxfire EnergyDave >> My flu

[RE-wrenches] PG&E Net metering Vs Smart Meters

2017-08-28 Thread William Miller
Dear Wrenches: Here in PG&E territory we have a unique situation: In the early days of net metering the PG&E accounts were handled regionally. In the early 2000s, this was all transferred to corporate in San Francisco. In the process PG&E lost many files. Over the years I have had eight or s
