In the world of Rivendell, you really never have to hit a timed event.
I personally like to record, download, drop or import items into Rivendell
so
I can see/hear /clean-up/trim before it airs. We record our 1 minute news
every hour, at the bottom of the hour and play it @ :40.

Is Revendell your main system, controlling STORQ or vice versa?
I definately need macro info.
Thanks,
James Gamblin

Hi all,
Looking for a good solution. We are wanting to connect Rivendell with
another system.
I am looking for a recommendation for a GPIO card that has 1 input and 1
output and works
with SUSE.
Thanks,

Hi Nathan,
Not free, but an inexpensive buyout. http://www.nat-soft.com/nm5.htm
I think it is a $695 buyout. That comes with a year of support, I think,
and free future upgrades. Even though it is a buyout, they still support
and upgrade it.

og you are sending to Riv., make sure the
8 in the
offset is correct. How many spaces from the left of the page are there
before Riv.
is to start looking for the Cart#. That should be enough to accomplish
what you want,
Riv. will drag the rest in. Cart # offset and length, which of is 6.
James G
the last song
in the set ends,
it should get pulled in, correct? Still doesn't. Any suggestions?

Hey Rob,
Ours did it last night. We usually add a few songs at the end of the day,
for
insurance. The fellow that usually takes care of that had a couple of days
off.
Most were fine, but we got bit last night. Woke up @ 4 am to a silent
station.
Sure wish the next day would just load.
James
ndell may drop the last song leaving only 63
minutes. To most people that is enough to fill the hour...I like a little
insurance.

Marc,
I've not found an extremely easy way. You can set good overlaps on the
liners but if you get a song with a short or
no intro... UHOH!
It's a *little* labor intensive, but if you are talking VTs, it's
not as much work as puting in new VTs every day. You
can set up a Category (not a cart)
