Vance,
I'd rather not know WHY you were searching for, and found the web page.
With the opening picture of the supplied page, perhaps it should have been
called "under-cover" instead of "under-tec". (???)

Norman. It's a setting on the list. When you register to receive emails
from the list, you specify whether you want your postings to be sent back
to you. not sure how to change it but /dmc does (David, the list = mom)

Sure.
I agree Clark,
I have also noticed that if the submissions stray a lot to off-topics, the
listers themselves change the subject and bring us back to real steam!. So
let's not get too tight and disciplined.
Harry you can tell me your story off-list!
Geoff.

I know for sure that Ernie Noa is building one 'cos we went in pursuit of
the prototype when he was across in England in the summer. I am not sure if
he is on the list, but I daresay we will hear about progress in future
issues of Small Scale Steam Hobbyist of which he is editor.

If you want to see your own message just confirm that with the "list mom" and
it will be done.

Royce,
The question is, how do I adjust my e-mail settings so that my message
appears in the my list of incoming? I failed.
I do have another question. Has anyone out there constructed, or is
constructing, the Keith Bucklitch "Brazil"?

The test was to see if my own message would come up. In as much as did not I
have failed to properly set up my e-mail configuration. Back to the

Thanks Vance et al,
Re that site for the pants,--Lovely!--I wonder if a silencer or
condensor/evaporater can be supplied as an extra! I could use the charcoal
filter (after use) to light the my coal fired Britannia (right Tony?).
That should clear out the tracks at DH--except I won't have a coal
I'd like to try my hand at building an engine, but would prefer
something other than a chain drive 'Critter'. Are there any 'plans' for
a more traditional engine (Shay or other type geared loco would be fine
as well) that does not require machining?
(Also in the 'AFFORDABLE' range. . . . )
LOL ! Good question.

Thank Marc for his response. I thoroughly enjoy his locomotive of the month
column on his website. Lots of ideas for scratch built projects. Looking
forward to reading about the Denver Project and probably building it.

Ditto Father Cram's comments Vance.
I operate a foster home for adult schizophrenics. I am also VP of a foster
care provider organization for Oregon care providers. This struck a very
earthy responce in me and I trust it will in all the foster care providers I
e-mailed. I suggested that this "tool

Vance, I've long been impressed with your encyclopedic knowledge and
all-around helpfulness, but this one takes top (bottom) prize. The
testimonials floating across the web page screen made me laugh until tears
