No, I can confirm it is working because I have a policy on the IM gateway which
is triggered if a message contains "inappropriate" language (the original IM
message is blocked from being sent or received, and a message to the sender is
generated).

Hello, I'm using pidgin in both fedora 11 and ubuntu 9.04. I have a msn account.
when I close pidgin with buddies->quit (or ctrl-q) the interface
freezes. then the window manager asks me to force the quit.
unfortunately this does not happen every time
does this thing happens to anyone else?

I get this issue still intermittently on WinXP SP3, I don't use linux at

But you can setup XMPP MSN Transports in OpenFire, I think.
