I thought I had heard of someone drowning in Honey Creek - perhaps a hundred
years ago - I don't know.
But IF what I thought I had heard was actually true - would anyone who knows
details of such a tragedy please speak up and provide details?

You must have gotten this from a dream of yours. I've been caving at Honey
Creek Cave for 27 years and this is the first I've heard of this. Maybe you're
confusing Honey Creek with Jacob's Well?

I agree with Bill. This is probably some confusion with Jacob's Well. I
maintain the TSS files for Comal County, which include Honey Creek Cave, and
there is no mention of such a thing in any of the records. When I first met the
owner in 1976, he told me the cave had been owned by his family
