Pavel,
I ran into the same problem on an Ubuntu-20.04 64bit machine.
The way I fixed it was to run:
sudo apt install libatk1.0-dev
libatk and its development package don't use matching version numbers in
Ubuntu; Not sure why.
Good luck, and hope this helps.

Milton,
You need to install the full espeak engine.
In a terminal, type:
sudo apt install espeak
After espeak is installed, Kodi should come up talking.

You need to add your user to the dialout group.
To do this do the following:
1. Open gnome-terminal
2. Type:
sudo adduser your_user_name dialout
Replace your_user_name with your actual user name.
3. Reboot
Chirp should work normally.
If you installed Chirp from ubuntu-software, you

Sticky keys are available.
Go to Settings > Universal Access.
You will find sticky keys in "Typing Assist".
You can set it up to enable and disable the feature from the keyboard.
I hope this helps. Enjoy Ubuntu!

The desktop that comes with ubuntu-gnome-desktop is called gnome-shell.
Gnome-shell doesn't have an applications menu like you're used to. When

Hi guys,
I have Ubuntu 13.04 installed on my laptop. At the moment, what is the
recommended interface? If Gnome is the interface of choice, how do I
migrate to Gnome from Unity?
Thanks,

Hi list,
I am helping a new user to set up his Ubuntu box, and I was wondering if
there is a shortcut to route Orca to where the mouse pointer currently
is. The user is looking for a read from pointer type feature, whereby
Orca reads from the current location such as a block of text. This would
I'm seeing this bug as well. When I type something into the box then
press down arrow, according to Orca, nothing happens. However visually,
according to my girlfriend, pressing the arrows moves me through choices.

Your best bet for now is Pidgin. You can install it by typing: sudo
