About webboard-applet, does it really need to be in /usr/bin then?
Not really it seems. I looked a bit on how other applets do and they place the
applet in /usr/lib/app. I have modified webboard to do the same.

I just had the same problem after upgrading to Intrepid Ibex, it was
caused by not having the restricted repository in my sources.list and
thus the necessary package not being installable. Adding the said
repository corrected the problem.

Pq2son2: If you launch telepathy-butterfly by hand, you have to set the
environment variable BUTTERFLY_PERSIST so it doesn't exit automatically.
