Please don't sync. The tarball used for this version of transmission is
defective (generated using faulty autotools, specifying FHS-incompliant
default locations). Upstream re-rolled the tarball since then and the
1.02-0ubuntu1 I uploaded is correct. I will notify Debian of this
situation.

Fixed in Hardy, upgraded mom's machine, everything is fine. Well, the hardy
update was a little rocky, but she rebooted ok.
FYI, aforementioned local laptop was failing to boot 2.6.24 - 2.6.22 booted
fine.

I have the same problem here. Sometimes seahorse crashes, and then ssh
seems not to work. My workaround is to blank out the ssh-agent
variables on the command line:
$ SSH_AGENT_PID= SSH_AUTH_SOCK= ssh wherever
It's a really frustrating bug, because ssh doesn't work and gives no
