I've had no success with Easycrypt. Selecting to Make New Crypt, fill
in the fields then click New... and nothing happens.
To try and uncover the problem, I started Easycrypt by typing easycrypt
in terminal.

-p" still incorrectly reports /usr/local/share/jay as the install path,
so the situation is much improved but is not yet ideal.

kdebase is currently in version 4:4.1.0-0ubuntu2.
I drop kickoff menu, i go to a non-kde application as like as synaptic or
firefox, i right-click on it and i click on Add to Desktop.

This is a non-issue for us now as we have moved away from Matrox cards
to NVIDIA Quadro FX ones. 8+24 is such an obscure use that I doubt many
others are using it. Fortunately the NVIDA binary drivers (on certain
models of card) have good support for it.
