In reply to Ralf Krauklis, I can confirm that my laptop also has the
bluetooth PCI-Express card fitted.
I gave up getting Hardy to work and jumped straight to Intrepid at
around the Alpha 3 release. And so far, everything is working fine.
Suspend to RAM works fine 99% of the time - I still get
OK; now I notice when I use the CD drive the hard drive light is
responding to CD disc read.
If I eject the CD tray shortly after booting the light will darken and I
can see hard drive activity, but any time I use the CD drive the light
is also reacting to that so maybe lines are crossed
The bug may occur if no dictionary is installed at the system or update-
cracklib has not been called at least once. The post-install script of
cracklib-runtime should call update-cracklib for this purpose. Cracklib-
runtime contains a cron.daily job that calls update-cracklib, but
postinst should

problem on my system is that I can't use Evolution at all, it appears to log
into my server ok but fails when trying to download mail, help doesn't work at
all and neither does send mail.

flicker for me. Then I noticed my hotkeys not working so I restarted
kded4 using krunner the screen flicker was still gone.

I blacklisted iwl3945 and added a modprobe iwl3945 in /etc/rc.local

Bug 187994 links the cryptic error to a malformed sources.list file, so
I suppose specifying --components leads to a malformed sources.list
file... though it's not obvious from the code why it would.
