Same problem here. After a clean install of 10.04 ubuntu fails to boot
from a raid1 with the message ALERT! /dev/disk/by-uuid/uuid of my md0
aka root partition does not exist. Dropping to a shell.. The directory
/dev/disk/by-uuid is not existent in the shell im dropped to afterwards.

@ I think its still a problem with grub however I think your right, your better
creating a new thread. The problem behind the message, Out of disk is that
grub is trying to access something that it cant reach. In my case it was trying
to write to a usb device.

Just happened to me on the same version of Firefox (3.5.9+nobinonly-
0ubuntu0.9.10.1), Ubuntu karmic, x86_64. Anything that can normally be

Since i toy with various ppa's at times o found that adding/removing the
key's isn't very pleasant.
A nice ui to grab ppa key's from launchpad would be very appreciated.

i don't wanna be mean, but i specified the revision to, cause ubuntu repo has a
older version, as far as i know
i manually added download.virtualbox.org to repo sources
so it automatically updates from there
