The way the upstream percona-toolkit repository works is they have these
perl modules that are statically "compiled in" to the various tool perl
scripts, with both the source libraries and that resulting static tool
committed to git.

On Xenial, various tools fail because of warnings from sprintf that are
generated on the new Perl version in Xenial.
These warnings are fatal because all of the tools set "use strict" and
"use warnings FATAL => 'all';"
This can be tested simply by parsing any MySQL log with
FYI - some tests completed, but others failed on the weekend (for other
reasons).
I'm rerunning them, in case you tested the PPA yourself and have any negative
feedback so far let me know.

Since a triggering change in qemu is in at least >=Bionic and was reported to
even affect continuous unattended upgrades there would you considering SRUing
your changes as needed?
I added tasks for all releases, but set >=Bionic to high to to that being an
