It looks like dependencies were missed during packaging.
Django 1.3 => use django-reversion 1.5.1
Django 1.3.1 => use django-reversion 1.5.2
My precise (12.04) system installed Django 1.3.1 and django-reversion
1.5.1 which do not work together. I had to overwrite django-rev
Just a confirmation that this works perfectly for me now on 12.04. I am
running kernel 3.2.0-24

To manag
account details are now conditionally set - they will only be updated if
the user changes away from the current setting. This was fixed in Bug
#941948.
Note that an extra debconf question was not needed.

landscape-config is being called by debian/landscape-client.postinst,
but the settings are still ignored. debian/landscape-client.postinst
first checks for the existence of /etc/landscape/client.conf. If it
exists, it does not read any debconf settings and reuses the existing
client.conf file.

I tried to install the Precise alpha and ended up here. The installer
crashed while installing.

Right now if you run dpkg-reconfigure landscape-client, it will ask you
for details of your landscape account, but ignores them. It needs to
call landscape-config to register the client.
