scripts. All of them work well, except the ones where I use secret-tool
to get a password from the keyring.

I'd like to suggest a solution for this problem: create an easy way to
change those colors, in the same way as the desktop themes. It's easy to
find information about HOW to change those colors, but it requires you
to set up every color, not really what the average user would enjoy…

Thanks for the workaround, I confirm it works. If you're using external
speakers (plugged in the headphone jack), the problem is almost
transparent.
Of course, it would be good to fix this bugs, but I think there are
plenty of more critical sound problems ;)
