Cannot change to Evolution via alt tab or Launch

I have only had the opportunity to test this with the Second LIfe viewer and
the Phoenix viewer but when the window is maximized, and transfered to the
Unity menu bar, the Second Life UI ceases to function properly.

After upgrading from 10.10 to 11.04 the internal speaker started giving
me alert tones. I tracked it down to compiz consuming all available CPU
time and not releasing it or subsiding. Compiz runs properly as long as
it has not been suspended.

Good find Nitto, now I guess the question is whether this is a problem
with the nvidia driver package or the visual effects packages.
