What needs to happen in order to get it in an update well before then?
Is there a suitable workaround?
Is there an alternative Empathy replacement that will do the same or

I had the issue of audio lag with Skype; pulseaudio 1:0.9.19-0ubuntu4.1
Upgraded Skype to the latest version, 2.1.0.81, and my lag is gone. It
may be worthwhile for those experiencing the problem to upgrade Skype
before trying to install the latest pulseaudio.

any time in the near future. I would love to see Gladex in Debian or
Ubuntu, but I cannot be the person to get that done. Sorry.
